Help....

Photo Of:
A Gorilla at the Toronto Zoo.

For some reason, this gorilla wasn't really moving around like the others and socializing with the gorillas. This gorilla only kept clinging on to the fence, pawing to the outside, as if an attempt to get out. Sometimes the zoo is an amazing place to see these wild animals you don't get to see in your everyday lives. But the other part of me wonders if keeping them caged up like this is really good for them. When I saw that gorilla, it really made my heart ache. I hope this photo moves you as it moved me that day.

Daily Deviation

Given 2009-12-12
Caged by ~M-Bae The raw emotion in this shot speaks volumes...and I don't have much to say on such a powerful image, instead I will let the photograph do the talking and leave you all with the impression it leaves on the viewer. (Suggested by ~BubCat and Featured by `kkart)

이거 정말 미셸이 찍은 거야 ㅇ_ㅇ? woww.. the poor gorilla :( 눈이 안 보여서 더 슬퍼보여 ㅠ but it looks kinda scary too...ominous? I think I read studies once that said animals don't mind being in smaller cages in zoos and that the only reason they live in a big habitat is because they need to satisfy all their needs.. but it was written by some people from the zoo, so I don't know if it's entirely believable.. I wouldn't want to be trapped in my room forever even if it meant I food, internet, and friends provided:O scary thought.. >< mm but we should go to the zoo again and pay this gorilla a visit!! It looks lonely :'(
:iconm-bae:
hahaha still shocked I do photography? :P:P psh yah I wouldn't want to be trapped either, its even harder for taller people! no room! like that giraffe story on the bus we were talking about.... must be so uncomfortable >< but mmm we should we should go to the zoo soon :) IM DONE THURSDAY hahaha I'm free!
